Kinetic Veterinary Specialists GE VCT 64 CT Installation

The Equipment:

We completed the installation of a GE VCT 64 CT scanner at Kinetic Veterinary Specialists in Clermont, FL. This project, spanned over a year due to construction delays and the meticulous process of designing a CT scan room to specific standards. 

Installation:

Over three days the lead installer and two helpers, utilizing dollies and a pallet jack to place the equipment accurately despite a mispositioned flush-mounted junction box. Adjustments had to be made by altering the gantry placement and raising it to accommodate the room's layout. We're problem solvers! 

Even though satisfaction with the CT installation was high, challenges persisted, including minor issues requiring follow-up attention. Despite these hurdles, the team's effort—led by Patrick, the lead installer, and Melody  the Applications Trainer—showcased our commitment to overcoming obstacles and delivering quality service.

The project, concluded with the installation on January 19, 2024, reflects the complexities and rewards of installing advanced veterinary imaging equipment. It emphasizes the importance of collaboration, adaptability, and technical expertise in achieving success in the face of unforeseen challenges.

The Results: 

We are very proud of the work that was done and are very grateful for the opportunity to do business with this state-of-the-art veterinary clinic. In the next couple of weeks, we will also be installing an MRI at Kinetic. We are excited to see the exceptional work they will do with their new equipment!
