The Equipment:

Lakewood's Evolution Veterinary Specialists in Colorado, recently added a Toshiba Aquilion 64-slice CT Scanner to their diagnostic capabilities.

Installation:

Integrating a CT scanner within an existing facility isn't without its hurdles. Space constraints and unexpected obstacles can quickly turn dreams into logistical nightmares. One of the most crucial aspects, often overlooked, is ensuring an adequate ingress path for the bulky equipment. 

During a final walkthrough, Prizmed's Project Manager,  identified two critical issues: a narrow doorway and an undersized conduit for cable runs. Had these obstacles gone unnoticed, installation would have been delayed, potentially incurring significant costs and frustration.

With proactive communication and collaboration, Evolution Veterinary was able to rectify the issues before the CT scanner's arrival. The doorway was widened, and the conduit was adjusted, paving the way for a smooth and efficient installation.

The Results: 

Today, Evolution Veterinary Specialists utilizes their Toshiba Aquilion 64-slice CT scanner, providing their patients with advanced diagnostics and exceptional care. This success story is a testament to the power of thorough planning, open communication, and a trusted partnership.
